Jameson Triple Distilled Original Irish Whiskey is a perfectly balanced whisky with the malted barley and un-malted barley being measured to perfection so one doesn’t overpower the other. The distillers at Jameson also balance the pot still whiskeys to complement the delicate grain whiskey that they use perfectly. Finally, they age the whiskey in oak casks for a minimum of 4 years to balance the flavour of the whiskey. This masterful aging process ensures a balance of the nutty flavours from the sherry with the fragrant vanilla flavours from the bourbon casks used, all resulting in the perfect balanced, uniquely distinct Jameson Irish whiskey.

Eye/Appearance/Colour: Bright gold.

Nose/Aroma/Smell: To the nose, Jameson has a light floral fragrance, peppered with spicy wood and sweet notes.

Flavour/Taste/Palate: Perfect balance of spicy, nutty, and vanilla notes with hints of sweet sherry and exceptional smoothness.

Finish: Quite long, gentle, malty, and very fruity. Jameson gives a clean aftertaste with notes of orange and peach.
